The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a warehouse administrator in Ashton - Under - Lyne area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods. Ensure timely and accurate stock updates. Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses. Implement and maintain stock control systems.
- Shipping and Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments. Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Prepare shipping documents and labels. Coordinate with shipping and receiving personnel.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities. Process and file relevant paperwork. Generate reports on inventory levels, shipments, and other key metrics.
- Warehouse Operations Support: Assist with organising and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment. Support warehouse staff with administrative tasks. Liaise with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and accounting.
- Other Duties: May be involved in hiring and training warehouse staff. May oversee and supervise warehouse operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. May be required to assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Pay: £12.21 per hour for the first 12 weeks.
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pm.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
