The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Train Cleaners & Fuel Pump Operatives on behalf of our client, a UK wide contract cleaning company. This role will be working at the Train Depot in Barton Under Needwood, Burton-On-Trent Pay : £11.44 per hour Shifts: 8pm-2am – 4 on 4 off shift pattern – so candidates must be able to get home at 2am These positions do include some weekend work 30 minute unpaid break Cleaners Job Spec: Working in a team of 3 completing service cleans of trains as they arrive on depot Duties include litter picking, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, mopping, wiping tables and panels, replenishing hand soap, toilet paper, relining bins, cleaning windows. Trains are Avanti and Cross Country and are made up of 4 & 5 carriages. Employees must be able to climb up a run of 3 steps to enter the cab to enter the train. You will not access via a platform. Fuel Pump Job Spec: Position Summary: Acting as a \’look out\’ for fuel spills on a busy fuel point and reacting/reporting as instructed. Measuring sand dispense quantities to laid down Fleet Check Instructions and reacting/reporting as instructed. Also, reporting any visual abnormalities with the Sanding System Equipment. This position is based on a busy maintenance depot and all applicants would be expected to complete the following: Work from written instruction (VMI). Work to specific measurements. Routine fleet checks ensuring that the Fleet is operated safely. Supporting the Fuel Point Team with routine 5S tasks. Person Profile/Experience: Open to taking direction and possess a positive \’can-do\’ attitude. Able to work from and interpret written work instruction closely. Able to carry out physical aspects as well as the more intricate aspects of the role. Flexible and committed team member that works well as part of team. Accurate and efficient worker.
