Daventry/Hybrid £38,000-£40,000 (D.O.E) Permanent Monday- Thursday 7am-5:15pm Fridays 7am-1pm Our client is a really long standing and prevalent engineering manufacturing business based in Daventry. They are now looking a welder trainer to help support an increase in workflow to the business. Welder Trainer Requirements- – CSWIP certified – Competent knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 15614-1 & 5817 – Fabrication welding experience both MIG and TIG – Proficient in microsoft word and excel – Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in order to lay out a welding project Welder Trainer Responsibilities- – Training and developing the welding team and new starters -Designing and writing of welding procedures and maintenance of records -Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal departments on weld procedures -Analyse high rate of weld repairs and give guidance for improvement to reduce wastage – Responsible for total weld quality throughout the company for manufactured products -Identifying process changes/improvements -Training/coaching employees in accordance with welding procedures and assessment/appraisal of welders -Management of audit system related to weld quality & internal auditing -Support NPI welding and product manufacture procedure activity -Set, operate and maintain the MIG and TIG machines and related tools and equipment. -MIG Welding with mild steel Please apply in the first instance with a copy of your most up to date CV CPDaventry JBRP1_UKTJ
