We are currently recruiting a Programme Benefits Officer (Staff Officer) for our client based in Belfast, Airport Road. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI are completed.

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £19.59PH

Duration: 1/10/2026 with possibility of extension

Hours of work: 37

Key Responsibilities:

  • Role is within a Benefits and Change Management Team, which oversees the tracking of Programme-level benefits as part of a wider public sector organisational review programme.
  • Supporting the tracking of benefits in line with project and programme management best practice.
  • Compiling monitoring and progress reports related to programme change and benefits realisation.
  • Assisting with the operation of Programme governance structures.
  • Assisting with the development of programme change related plans, including a Change Management Strategy.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of effective leadership and communication, setting and prioritising goals to meet organisational business objectives.
  • At least 2 years' experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Degree + Maths & English GCSE (must provide proof).

Desired but not essential:

  • Previous experience of working in Public Sector.
  • Previous experience of working in a project or programme management environment.

A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
