We are currently recruiting a tour guide for our client based in Portrush. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI are completed.
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £13.75PH
Hours of work: 37 hours, 9am to 5pm, 5 days over 7
Key Responsibilities:
- To man the Exhibition Centre at Portrush Coastal Zone
- Open and close the building daily
- Feeding of live creatures and carry out water change as instructed
- Comply and sign PCZ Risk Assessment
- Relay information to visitors on sea life in tanks and assist with any groups visiting the centre
- Produce weekly time sheets to Manager by Friday of each week
- Always ensure security of the building
- Any further instructions from Manager
Essential Criteria: Applicants must have:
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Proof of certificates required)
- Good interpersonal skills
Desirable but not essential:
- An interest and experience in Marine life and Conservation
- Trained in First Aid
