We are recruiting a registered Dietitian to deliver high‑quality clinical nutrition care across a range of settings, including community and domiciliary visits.
Role Summary
The postholder will provide individualised dietetic assessment, treatment, and review for patients with varied clinical needs. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and evidence‑based nutritional interventions, including therapeutic diets, oral nutritional supplements, and enteral feeding where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutrition and dietetic interventions based on clinical condition and evidence‑based standards
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using biochemistry, anthropometry, and clinical data
- Provide patient, carer, and family education to support effective dietary management
- Deliver care across hospital, community, and home settings as required
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to support optimal nutritional outcomes
- Advise on therapeutic diets, supplements, and enteral feeds
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, records, and activity data
- Contribute to audit, research, quality improvement, and health promotion initiatives
- Participate in training, education, and supervision of staff and students
- Manage and prioritise caseloads to ensure an efficient and effective service
- Uphold professional standards, confidentiality, safety, and resource efficiency
Essential Criteria
- Degree / Diploma / MSc (or equivalent) in Nutrition & Dietetics
- HCPC registration
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments considered)
Additional Information
Some flexibility may be required, including weekends or out‑of‑hours work. Duties may be delivered over a 7‑day service in line with service needs. Assessment will take place at interview against the job description.
