We are currently recruiting for an HR Administrator to join a busy HR team based in Lisburn. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to gain valuable experience within a large public sector organisation.
Key Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of the HR function.
- Maintain employee records, HR databases and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Process HR documentation including maternity, paternity, flexible working, career breaks, probation reviews and employee changes.
- Support monthly payroll administration, payroll instructions and payroll reconciliations.
- Manage sickness absence records, annual leave administration and employee queries.
- Monitor HR inboxes and respond to staff and management enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Produce reports, statistics and management information using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Support recruitment activities, including agency worker administration and candidate assessment exercises.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, take minutes and support HR projects and events as required.
Essential Criteria
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above and at least 1 year's experience in a busy office environment carrying out administrative duties OR A minimum of 2 years' experience in a demanding office environment carrying out a range of administrative tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to demonstrate:
- Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
