The Recruitment Co has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to work in Manchester City Centre. This will be their second location after having an already established restaurant in Manchester. The company is a healthy eating street food style, quick service restaurant offering a range of box meals featuring steak, prawns and chicken along with a range of burgers, wraps and bagels. This is a full time, permanent role starting in April. The salary is between £40-£45k per year based on experience.

Duties and Key Information include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the operation which includes (but is not limited to) ensuring all members of the team are fully trained, all aspects of H&S are monitored and daily/weekly cleaning rotas are followed.
  • Creating the weekly rota, placing food orders in conjunction with the kitchen manager.
  • Undertaking all end of day/end of week administrative tasks such as cashing up and stock takes.
  • Responsible for recruitment and the creation of a motivated and engaged team.

The brand has an established following in their current location and on social media.

Key Skills & Experience Include:

  • Background in management, preferably in QSR brands or at the very least in the food industry.
  • Have been involved in new store openings.
  • Previous experience in managing all aspects of a P&L.
