Location: Dungannon
Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week including a 1-hour meal break (37 hours net), Monday to Friday; 9 am to 5 pm. Duties may involve some work outside normal office hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Appointee must hold a current, valid driving licence and have access to a form of transport which will enable them to fulfil their responsibilities.
Main Duties:
- Provide support to management and colleagues in AfIB Meat and Eggs section
- Collation, review and reporting of various data
- Organise team meetings/take minutes
- User testing of developing IT solutions
- Maintain section pages on DAERA website
- Review/revise procedures and provide training day for team members
- Inspection work, as required
- Deputise for line management as required
- Maintain training logs for the section
Qualifications:
- At least an Honours degree (2.2 classification) or an equivalent qualification in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Technology or closely related subject.
- A minimum of two year’s relevant post-qualification experience working in the agricultural industry or related industries.
- A full and current driving licence enabling the licence holder to drive a car in Northern Ireland.
