Location: Strathfoyle Library, Derry/Londonderry

Client: Libraries NI

Temporary Assignment: 18 May 2026 - 30 June 2026

Hours: 10 hours per week

Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of Libraries NI for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to support the upkeep of Strathfoyle Library. This is a part-time opportunity working as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Working Pattern

  • Monday: 08:15 - 10:45
  • Tuesday: 08:15 - 10:45
  • Wednesday: Rest Day
  • Thursday: 08:15 - 10:45
  • Friday: 08:15 - 10:45
  • Saturday: Rest Day

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas of the library
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

Essential Criteria

  • Previous cleaning experience (outside of a home environment)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake any required training

Additional Information

  • Basic Access NI clearance required
  • No equipment required to be supplied by the worker
