Pay Rate

£19.78 per hour

Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (shift hours may be required)
  • Key Duties
  • Perform CT and general radiography examinations in line with professional, national and local standards.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation protection legislation, local rules and safety procedures.
  • Obtain informed patient consent and provide appropriate post-examination advice and support.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinical risk within the service.
  • Participate in continuing professional development (CPD), appraisals, training programmes and service audits.
  • Support, guide and supervise junior radiographers, students and radiography assistants.
  • Promote high standards of clinical governance, risk management and patient care.
  • Assist with service monitoring, statistical reporting and other duties as required.
  • Rotate between CT and General Radiography departments and participate in the CT shift rota.
  • Provide flexible cover across the service, including weekends, nights, public holidays and on-call duties when required.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of
  • 2 years' post-qualification experience
  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers,

BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.

HCPC registered or eligible for registration.

  • Full current

UK driving licence valid for use in the UK.
