The main duties of the post are:

  • Assist in the management of NI’s Hydrometric Network.
  • Analysis of historical data to aid understanding of river trends to assist in flood risk expertise.
  • Manage and update the Rivers historical river level and flow database.
  • Carry out a targeted gauging programme to review rating curves.
  • Deliver hydrometric station upgrade works programme, including new sites and the management of internal and external contractors.
  • Respond to data requests.
  • Assist in stakeholder data reviews.

Essential Criteria:

  • BTech HNC in Environmental, Science or Engineering discipline.
  • Other qualifications may be considered.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an AccessNI.
