The main duties of the post are:
- Assist in the management of NI’s Hydrometric Network.
- Analysis of historical data to aid understanding of river trends to assist in flood risk expertise.
- Manage and update the Rivers historical river level and flow database.
- Carry out a targeted gauging programme to review rating curves.
- Deliver hydrometric station upgrade works programme, including new sites and the management of internal and external contractors.
- Respond to data requests.
- Assist in stakeholder data reviews.
Essential Criteria:
- BTech HNC in Environmental, Science or Engineering discipline.
- Other qualifications may be considered.
Successful applicants will be required to complete an AccessNI.
