Overview
Lecturer in the MSc in Strategic Leadership for Agri-Food programme – Cookstown.
Full-time lecturer role with approximately 22 hours per week (part-time pattern).
Based in Northern Ireland, working with CAFRE/DAERA through the client organisation.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and assessment of the full-time postgraduate courses.
- Support the delivery and assessment of the part-time evening postgraduate courses.
- Assist in the supervision of MSc degree projects.
- Tutor students and provide pastoral care where necessary.
- Attend education team meetings.
- Any other duties in line with the business needs of CAFRE and DAERA.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification at Master’s degree level or above in an agri-food or related discipline (e. g., business/management).
- Applicants with a postgraduate diploma and appropriate experience will also be considered.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience of delivering education courses and assessing student learning would be beneficial.
- Compliance
- An Access NI will be required for this role.
- A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
