Role Details

  • Position: Cook
  • Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including alternate weekends
  • Typical Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Rates

  • Monday to Friday: £12.31 per hour
  • Saturday: £16.62 per hour
  • Sunday: £20.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with hospital dietary requirements
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
  • Work collaboratively with catering staff to deliver high-quality service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
