We are currently recruiting a DP Project Secretariat Manager for our client based in Stormont. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI are completed.

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £24.59ph

Hours of work: 37

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the Executive’s response to recommendations arising from the Covid-19 Inquiry Module 2 report.
  • Develop and implement a Post Covid-19 Inquiry file review, including a systematic audit of all Covid-19 Inquiry related digital files and physical documents.
  • Liaise with DSO legal advisers and Counsel to seek advice on Inquiry related matters.
  • Support the process for providing information in relation to any requests for information from the Covid-19 Inquiry.
  • Coordinate and draft responses to Inquiry related queries including FOI, AQs and CORRs.
  • Draft and provide input to submissions, updates and reports to senior management and Ministers as appropriate.
  • Participate in Covid Inquiry cross departmental working group and activities.
  • Support and assist the Grade 7 Manager to oversee the department’s provision of evidence to the UK Covid-19 Inquiry, including the drafting of materials to support the provision of evidence documents to the Inquiry.
  • Line management responsibilities.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • A degree with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience.
  • Ability to interpret complex evidence and draw reasoned conclusions.
  • Skilled in identifying risks, inconsistencies, and gaps in information.
  • Experience in applying legal or procedural frameworks to sensitive issues.
  • Proven ability to build trust across departments and organisations.
  • Clear, concise, and professional writing for briefings, reports, and correspondence.
  • Confident in presenting findings and recommendations to senior officials.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Open to new ways of working and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Willing to share insights and embed learning across teams and organisations.

Desired but not essential skills or experience:

  • Experience in Project Management and leading a small team.
