Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are recruiting a Clerical Officer to provide key administrative support within a busy office environment. The ideal candidate will be motivated, able to work on their own initiative, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to complete tasks accurately and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage performance measures to support business improvement
  • Record all outcomes ensuring they are Proportionate, Legal, Auditable & Necessary
  • Draft responses to letters and customer complaints on behalf of the Business Area Manager
  • Provide office cover when required and carry out additional duties as needed
  • Answer inbound calls using the telephony system
  • Use internal systems (including the Board app) to triage and allocate work
  • Monitor and manage main inboxes, responding to customers in writing
  • Use initiative to set up and maintain databases
  • Make outbound calls to customers to gather information for assessments
  • Undertake general administrative and ad hoc duties as required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Less than 1 year of administrative experience is acceptable
  • IT Proficiency: Beginner (training provided)
  • Additional Requirements: Strong communication skills, motivated, able to work independently, and compassionate in customer interactions
  • Qualifications: No additional qualifications required
  • Access NI: Basic check required
