We are recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for an experienced Administrative Officer to join the Finance Branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and coordination skills who is seeking a long-term temporary role with stability and development.
Location: FCAD, Newforge (Free parking available)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Contract: Temporary Ongoing
Level: Administrative Officer (AO)

Main Duties:
- You will support the Finance System Project Manager by providing essential administrative and coordination support, including:
- Maintaining project plans, trackers, risk & issue logs, and governance documentation
- Assisting with project reporting and progress updates
- Organising meetings, including project boards, and preparing accurate minutes
- Ensuring key documentation is managed effectively and updated regularly
- Providing general administrative support to keep the project running smoothly
Essential Criteria:
- Two GCSEs, including Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent)
- At least 6 months' experience in an administrative support role
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues and external parties
