Football Caretaker (Casual) Location: Ballymena Area Rate of Pay: £13.70 per hour Hours: Casual, as and when required We are currently recruiting for Football Caretakers to support the operation of sports pavilions and 3G pitch facilities across the Ballymena area. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards, enjoy working with the public, and can provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for facility users. Key Responsibilities Open and close sports pavilions and facilities Ensure buildings, equipment, and changing areas are secure and well maintained Clean changing rooms, toilets, showers, and surrounding areas Carry out inspections of pavilions and pitches before and after use Report damage, incidents, and maintenance issues Issue and collect sports equipment, including nets and flags Assist customers and manage facility access in line with booking schedules Support the efficient day-to-day operation of football facilities Essential Criteria Either: 3 GCSEs at Grade A-C (or equivalent) and at least 1 year's relevant experience in cleaning and working with members of the public Or: 3 years' relevant experience in cleaning and working with members of the public In addition: A full current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or access to suitable transport to meet the requirements of the role The Successful Candidate Will Be: Reliable and dependable Customer-focused and professional Able to work independently and as part of a team Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security Flexible to work on an as-required basis To apply please send your CV across via the link41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
