We are currently recruiting a EO1 Business Consultant for our client based in Ballykelly. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £17.23ph

Hours of work: 37 Full time Mon to Fri

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Policy Development
  • Assist in identifying, adequately defining and framing issues / problems to be addressed.
  • Assist in the development of a new, evidence-based rural policy including reviewing existing policies, assessing rural research and evidence, identifying policy options and developing draft policy proposals.
  • Assist in planning for and delivering a public consultation on draft rural policy proposals.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Providing support as required to Policy Leads and the Head of Branch including arranging meetings & accurate recording of meeting proceedings
  • Assist in completing branch returns

The duties listed above are not exhaustive. However, they provide a good indication of the main duties of the post.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • 5 GCSEs with incl. English & Maths and 12-18 months administrative/office experience
  • A degree with a minimum of 12 months' experience

Desired:

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good knowledge of using software packages e.g., Microsoft office
