We are currently recruiting a EO1 Business Consultant for our client based in Ballykelly. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £17.23ph
Hours of work: 37 Full time Mon to Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Policy Development
- Assist in identifying, adequately defining and framing issues / problems to be addressed.
- Assist in the development of a new, evidence-based rural policy including reviewing existing policies, assessing rural research and evidence, identifying policy options and developing draft policy proposals.
- Assist in planning for and delivering a public consultation on draft rural policy proposals.
Other Responsibilities:
- Providing support as required to Policy Leads and the Head of Branch including arranging meetings & accurate recording of meeting proceedings
- Assist in completing branch returns
The duties listed above are not exhaustive. However, they provide a good indication of the main duties of the post.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
- 5 GCSEs with incl. English & Maths and 12-18 months administrative/office experience
- A degree with a minimum of 12 months' experience
Desired:
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have good knowledge of using software packages e.g., Microsoft office
