Quality Control Operative
We are currently recruiting applicants to join our client Camden, based in Antrim
Due to a continued focus on improving Quality Standards throughout the business our client are seeking to recruit QC Operatives to work within the company.
Reporting to:QC Manager and Supervisors
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- End of line Quality checks in line with SOP for QC
- Identification of Quality issues at end of line and throughout the process
- Support the production operatives with identification of quality issues and implementation of corrective actions
- Work with production to reduce the number of remakes across the factories
- Communicate clearly with Quality Manager and Production Managers on targets, issues, guidelines, and daily requirements
- Ensure all work is cleared at the end of day
- Report on any QC issues on a daily basis
- Assist with resolving issues arising from customer complaints
- A minimum of 6 months experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot quality control issues
- A working knowledge of computer systems – Microsoft office package
- Be able to work with the minimum of supervision
- Be self-motivated and assertive enabling targets to be achieved and driving continuous improvement
- Flexible to work a reasonable amount of overtime
- Previous experience in a Quality Control role
