Job Description:
Position: Administrative Officer
Pay Rate:£12.97 per hour
Hours:Full time, 37 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Craigantlet Buildings/Goodwood House (Working from home may also be an option)
Length of Contract: 3 months initially although this may be extended up until 25/01/26
Hours of Work:9 to 5, Monday to Friday
Job Duties:
- Support the PSSN Contract Management team in delivering the NI PSSN Contract.
- Support PSSN Contract Team in the successful running of the NI PSSN for existing and future Users and services.
- General Admin Duties as required to include:
- Processing of a busy mailbox – sending and receiving emails.
- Logging information on an excel spreadsheet and updating regularly.
- Saving emails/documents to an online filing system.
- Responding to customer queries and following up on outstanding actions
- Attendance at meetings could also be required
Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths & English (must be able to show certificates)
Previous experience in a process driven role is required.
Previous administrative experience is essential.
The Candidate must be able to work to deadlines and under a degree of pressure – this is a very busy and reactive role.
The role involves direct engagement with senior staff across the Public Sector, therefore the following will be required:
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good Mathematics skills
• Ability to deal with queries from customers and suppliers at all levels of seniority
Confidence to attend and participate in meetings (face to face or remotely via video)
*The successful applicant will be required to complete an Access NI during registration as well as a CTC*
