Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Coleraine, as a full-time Administration Officer. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Our client is Northern Ireland’s Leading Public Sector Employer.

Administrator Pay Rate: £12.97 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Administrator hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (37 hours)

About the Administrator role:

The main responsibilities include accurately processing driving licence applications, medical reports, duplicates, payments, and refunds efficiently. This involves:

  • Assessing applications for correctness and returning incorrect ones to customers
  • Completing ID checks, keying data into the Driver Licensing Computer System
  • Preparing daily financial summaries, batching, validating, and sealing applications as required
  • Responding to telephone queries from the public
  • Liaising with other agencies on licensing issues
  • Providing professional customer service and ensuring data security and compliance with data protection legislation
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and supporting team members and managers

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Effective call handling and interpersonal skills
