Job Title: Production Operative Days & Nights Location: Pontypool Salary: £12.21 per hour and there is a shift allowance premium for nights so the night rate is £14.04 per hour Hours: Full time. Monday – Thursday days and night shifts. 6am-6pm days and 6pm – 6am nights (this is a 44 hour week contract) Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Production Operative to work for a company based in Pontypool on a temporary contract. Main job roles Promote safety in the workplace and comply with legislation, identify risk areas to management for resolution. Line optimization and line startups. Adherence to quality control checks and measures. Including raising Non-Conformances to your supervisor. To be an expert of a at least two key skills in production and be able to train others as well. Assist in any production Key Operative/Operative duties as requested. Co-operate in one’s own personal training and development program in accordance with the Company’s Training Policy and Procedure Assisting in the training and development of fellow team members. Liaise with supervisors to ensure production plan is adhered to. Ensure customer orders are achieved efficiently, on time and ensure the correct quantity is delivered.
