Here at The Recruitment Co we are recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to work for a company based in Monmouth on a temporary to permanent contract. Great opportunity for a motivated, multi-skilled and self-driven individual to join our Maintenance team.
The Role: Supporting the Maintenance Manager in completing general maintenance at our Head Office and Showrooms. As part of the maintenance team, you will also be working on showroom refurbishments and new store fitouts. For these duties, you will be expected to travel to the showroom location. Dependant on location of the showroom refurbishments projects will require you to stay away from home.
Duties:
- Carry out general repairs and building work, including carpentry, minor plumbing, decoration and any other reasonable task requested by the line manager in connection with the general upkeep of internal and external areas.
- Showroom refurbs including undertaking rip out work.
- Carrying out finishing work, such as painting and decorating.
- Providing high standards of repairs and maintenance across multi trades.
- Inspecting repairs.
