We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers, who would be interested to work on an adhoc basis. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of consumable goods. Your main duty will include driving an empty skelly tank from Bridgwater to a specific location to pick up the goods and to then transfer the goods to a site back in Bridgwater. This is a Monday to Friday position. You will be starting typically between 4pm/5pm and finishing around 2:30am/3am.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Help to off load items as and when required
  • Adhere to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Health and Safety and relevant Driving laws and regulations
  • Perform vehicle checks and report any faults or defects
  • Follow the rules on fuel economy and harsh braking
  • Liaise with the depot and the customers on a daily basis

This role is perfect for those seeking a temporary / ad-hoc position for a few days, a week or on a rota that works around your schedule.
