Job Title: Buying Assistant Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum Location: Salford, Greater Manchester Hours: 09:00am – 17:00pm (Monday to Friday) Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days from home (After induction period) Are you a candidate that may be looking for your first step into a purchasing / buying department? Job Responsibilities: Managing product enquiries from internal and external customers in relation to product availability Using databases, national websites and accumulated data, research each product enquiry to identify which countries a product is available in, taking into consideration requested brands as well as viable alternatives Liaise with the buyers to obtain pricing and availability information on products from initial query Collate all responses and respond to query originator Manage and maintain databases and spreadsheets in relation to live and historic queries
