My client is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Associate Engineer or a Senior Structural Engineer and offering a genuine pathway to Associate, then Directorship, and potentially, a Shareholder / Partner position. Required Experience & Qualifications

A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering. A degree in Structural Engineering and an IEng or CEng qualification.

Required Expertise & Skills

We’re looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with:

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge: Proficient in relevant UK standards, Eurocodes, design guidance documentation, and Building Regulations.
  • Proven design abilities: Skilled in coordinating detailed designs and specifications, using both first principles hand calculations and software like AutoCAD, Revit, Staad, Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar. You’ll demonstrate strong competency in conceptual and detailed structural engineering project design.
  • Innovative mindset: You’ll bring a flair for elegant solutions, exceptional critical thinking, and a drive for innovative approaches to structural challenges.
  • Exceptional communication: Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively across teams, with clients and external consultants.
  • Project management understanding: A solid grasp of project programmes, budget management and constraints.
