The DRVN Automotive group are recruiting for a Senior Buyer with a deep understanding of the industry to support the procurement team. The role will be based on- site Monday to Friday in Coventry.

Role Description
The core deliverables of the role include
- Manage competitive sourcing across multiple commodities for two parallel vehicle launch programmes
- Support the shift from tactical prototype sourcing to strategic production partnerships
- Lead supplier negotiations to maximise value and build strong, collaborative relationships
- Contribute to wider business transformation, providing insight to improve processes and efficiency
- The Specialist will collaborate with internal departments to meet organisational procurement needs and technical specifications.
The core capabilities required are
- Background in Automotive and/or Motorsport (highly beneficial)
- Experience within start-up or scale-up organisations
- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Vendor Negotiation
- Deep understanding of Procurement tools, techniques & best practices with the ability to apply by default outside of structured framework environments
- Full end-to-end Source-to-Contract capability
- Lateral thinker with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong negotiator, communicator, and team player
- Proactive, collaborative self-starter with a hands-on approach
- Calm, composed, and effective under pressure
- Proficiency in relevant procurement and ERP systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Coventry
- Must have rights to work in UK.
