Are you looking for a stable, long-term position with a reliable daily routine? We are seeking a dependable and focused individual to join our close-knit operations team in Kettering. Operating within the maritime and supply chain sector, this permanent, entry-level role provides a steady working environment where full training is given. This position is perfectly suited to someone who thrives on following clear procedures, enjoys structure, and is looking for a long-term, routine-driven role rather than rapid career progression.

Working in a small office and warehouse team, you will assist with the day-to-day administrative checks and logistics paperwork required to keep our projects running smoothly. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Routine Administration: Inputting contract data, processing orders, and keeping standard logistics paperwork up to date.
  • Supplier Tracking: Monitoring supplier delivery timelines and cross-checking order accuracy against standard lists.
  • Team Communication: Answering straightforward enquiries from suppliers and internal team members via phone and email.
  • Hands-on Warehouse Work: Regularly stepping out of the office to assist in the warehouse. This includes checking inbound orders, wrapping pallets, and physical lifting/packing as required.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participating in a shared out-of-hours on-call rota to assist with routine operational requests.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Reliable Work Ethic: A methodical approach to work, with the ability to follow established instructions and checklists carefully.
  • Practical & Fit: Completely comfortable splitting your time between desk-based tasks and hands-on, physical warehouse work (including lifting and wearing PPE).
  • Basic IT Skills: Comfortable utilising MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) for straightforward data entry and email communication.
  • Desirables: A full UK driving licence and a preference for long-term job stability.

If you value a secure, predictable job with clear daily expectations, this role offers excellent stability within a supportive team. Full training on our internal processes will be provided, ensuring you are confident in every aspect of your daily routine.
