We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Tax Consultant to join our clients specialist advisory team. This is a fully remote, advisory-only role with no compliance responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on a wide range of technically challenging and commercially focused projects.
You will support a diverse client base, including owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and corporates, delivering clear, practical tax advice across a variety of scenarios. The work is varied, often project-based, and typically delivered at a strategic level rather than high-volume large corporate compliance. This role would suit someone from a mixed tax or OMB background with a corporate bias, rather than a pure large corporate tax specialist.
- Deliver high-quality corporate tax advisory services to OMBs and corporate clients
- UK aspects of international tax (corporate tax residency, Corporate Interest Restriction, and high-level transfer pricing, CFCs, BEPS)
- Loan relationships and the intangible assets regime
- Business Asset Disposal Relief (BADR)
- Corporation tax losses, associated companies, and Quarterly Instalment Payments (QIPs)
- Tax clearances and advance assurances
- Share schemes (e.g. EMI)
- Contribute to technical content, guidance, and internal knowledge sharing where required
- Strong UK corporate tax advisory experience
- Broad technical tax knowledge and the ability to apply it in practice
- Exposure to UK international tax matters
- Broader, multi-tax (generalist) advisory experience
We will also consider candidates with a specialist focus in share schemes or valuations, as well as those with a high-level general tax background. Comfortable working remotely and managing workload independently.
Benefits include:
- Christmas bonus (subject to conditions, including 3 years continuous service)
- Contributory pension scheme
- Life insurance
- Enhanced contractual sick pay
- Health scheme (subject to conditions, including 5 years service)
- Employee wellbeing support
- Fully remote, flexible working environment
