We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join our client, who are a specialist mortgage lender. The Underwriter will be responsible for the packaging and processing of mainly residential but some buy-to-let mortgage applications in accordance with company criteria and policy. You will utilise your customer service skills and mortgage industry knowledge to deliver a great service to the brokers and/or third parties and collate all relevant information in order for the request to be reviewed for a final decision appropriately. You will also be adding value by educating brokers on products, criteria and processes. We are looking for – Minimum of 3 years experience within Specialist Mortgage Underwriting, with a mandate – CeMap qualified – Underwriting experience needs to be within the last 2 years This role is fully remote based, and you will be provided with the latest I.T equipment to ensure you are working efficiently. Our client is looking to pay up to £45,000 with an opportunity to earn an intercompany yearly bonus.
