Our client is a well-established, family-run business with over 20 years of experience and an impressive client base including SMEs and a FTSE 100 company. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in IT Hardware and become part of the next phase of this growing organisation.
The IT Hardware Technician will be responsible for:
- Processing all hardware received into the warehouse and uploading it to the internal system
- Testing hardware and components
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of hardware onto vehicles
- Performing certified data sanitisation using approved tools
- Verifying erasure results and maintaining accurate logs
- Updating the inventory system when hardware is shipped or checked out
- Cleaning devices to prepare them for resale
- Assessing whether items are suitable for repair and resale or should be recycled
We are looking for someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about IT Hardware! This is a small, close-knit team, so a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues is essential, their work is a team effort! As a reward, they offer quarterly bonuses if the target is hit so teamwork is super important!
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am - 4.30pm. Due to the location, you will need to hold a full U.K driving license.
