Looking for something different from the usual recruitment role? Are you an experienced recruiter who wants more freedom, flexibility and trust — without the unnecessary KPIs and micromanagement? Perhaps you're a specialist recruiter who knows your market inside out and would love the opportunity to build your own division within an established recruitment consultancy. We're open to recruiters across a range of sectors from a permanent market, including; IT | HR | Marketing | Accountancy & Finance | Industrial | Engineering | Sales | Commercial | Procurement & Supply Chain.

You bring your recruitment expertise and market knowledge. We'll provide the platform, support and infrastructure to help you build something of your own.

About Us: The Lauras (yes, we have the same name!) founded The Recruiters Room in 2016 as two experienced recruiters and working parents. We've built our business around honest conversations, long-term relationships and doing what's right rather than what's easy. Unlike many recruitment businesses, we don't believe in unnecessary KPIs or micromanagement. We agree your financial target and trust you to achieve it your way. We're now looking for another experienced recruiter to join us and help grow the business.

The Opportunity: We're looking for someone who wants to develop their own specialist market or division while having the security and support of an established business behind them. You might already have an established desk and client base, or you may have strong relationships and expertise within a particular sector that you're ready to develop. We're particularly interested in recruiters who are entrepreneurial, commercially minded and want genuine ownership of what they build.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven recruitment experience, within an agency environment
  • Strong knowledge of your specialist market
  • A track record of successful placements and revenue generation
  • Confidence developing new client relationships
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build something
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

We're not looking for a particular sector — we're looking for the right person.

What We Offer:

  • £35,000 – £40,000 basic, depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission
  • Opportunity to build your own specialist division
  • Remote working and genuine autonomy
  • No unnecessary KPIs or micromanagement
  • 22 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Additional Christmas/New Year closure days
  • Your birthday off
  • Opportunity to earn additional annual leave
  • Company laptop
  • Early finish Fridays, business allowing
  • Future progression opportunities

Ready to Build Something of Your Own? If you're an experienced recruiter who wants the freedom to develop a market, grow your own client base and have a real influence on the direction of your career — we'd love to hear from you. Bring your expertise. Build your division. Do recruitment your way.
