Remote Working (Applicants must live within approximately 30 minutes of Crowthorne/Bracknell due to weekly team meetings and client visits). Are you looking to remain in Recruitment, but without the unnecessary KPIs, micromanagement and more emphasis on results and trust? Are you passionate about Recruitment but still want the flexibility to enjoy family life, and everything else that matters outside of work? (We do too!) Do you want to be part of a growing business where you’re heard, not just employed.

About Us

The Lauras (Yes, we have the same name!) founded The Recruiters Room in 2016 as two experienced recruiters (and working parents) with very different strengths. We’ve built a business based on honest conversations, long-term partnerships and doing what’s right rather than what’s easy. Those shared values, combined with our different perspectives, are what have helped us build lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike. Ten years on, we’re still driven by the same mission.

Unlike many recruitment businesses, our focus isn’t on KPIs, it’s just reaching your financial target, your way. We believe experienced recruiters perform best when they are trusted, encouraged and given the autonomy to manage their own desk. We work hard, celebrate success and recognise that a successful recruitment career should fit around life—not the other way around.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for an experienced 360 Recruitment Consultant who wants the freedom to build and run a successful desk, develop long-term client relationships and be trusted to do what they do best. We are wanting to engage with REAL people who share our philosophy: recruit with honesty and integrity, build strong relationships, support one another and have fun along the way!

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience within a 360-consultant role, for an agency
  • Quantifiable success throughout their recruitment career
  • Resilience in building and developing new client relationships
  • A genuine passion for recruitment, as a long-term career
  • Strong communication, literacy and organisational skills
  • A desire to earn beyond a basic salary and continuously develop their desk
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Benefits

  • Uncapped commission structure
  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays with additional paid leave between Christmas and New Year, when the business closes
  • Your birthday off
  • Opportunity to earn additional annual leave each quarter
  • Company laptop
  • Early finish Fridays (Business allowing)
  • Future career progression opportunities, if desired

We are a consultancy that offers a truly unique opportunity to the “norm”. We are so excited to commence our search for our third team member, so if our advert resonates with you, then we’d love to hear from you! (Applicants with alternative names to Laura are more than welcome to apply, as are other Lauras!)
