Are you confident on the phone, naturally curious and comfortable speaking to businesses? We’re looking for a Lead Generation Executive to join a small, established business based in Camberley. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys talking to people, building initial connections and uncovering new business opportunities. They believe that good business relationships still matter. Their customers don't have to deal with automated systems, or faceless online platforms – they can pick up the phone and talk to them. They have built their business through a combination of good service, strong relationships and business development done in the correct way. This is not a high-pressure, scripted telesales role. They are looking for someone who is confident speaking to businesses, understands how B2B sales work and can build genuine business relationships. They are a small team, so the person joining them will have a genuine opportunity to make a difference.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be to identify and contact potential new business customers and book quality appointments for the Sales Executive to attend. You'll be working from existing company data as well as researching and identifying new businesses to contact. You won't be attending the appointments or responsible for closing the sale. Your focus is on making great initial connections and getting the right businesses through the door for the sales executive to develop further.

  • Making outbound calls to prospective B2B customers
  • Researching and identifying new companies to approach
  • Introducing the business and understanding whether there is an opportunity
  • Qualifying prospects and booking appointments for the Sales Executive
  • Keeping accurate records of calls and opportunities
  • Focusing on quality conversations rather than simply making a high volume of calls
  • Helping to identify new opportunities across the local area

Hours & Flexibility

At present, the role is 2–3 days per week, approximately 9.30am–2.30pm. Ideally, the working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as Mondays and Fridays tend to be quieter within the business. There is genuine scope for the role to grow in the future. If you enjoy the role, demonstrate your ability and want to take on more hours or responsibility, the owner is very open to that!

What We're Looking For

  • B2B appointment setting experience
  • Confident and comfortable speaking to people on the telephone
  • Friendly, personable and able to build rapport quickly
  • Commercially minded and able to spot an opportunity
  • Organised and able to keep track of conversations and follow-ups
  • Motivated by achieving results

What You'll Get

  • £14 per hour
  • £250 bonus if monthly introduction target is hit (Quality is more important to them than quantity. An opportunity needs to represent a genuine potential customer and be something their sales team can realistically follow up)
  • Genuine opportunity for additional hours and progression
  • 22 days' holiday pro rata + bank holidays
  • Paid business closure between Christmas and New Year
  • Free parking
  • A friendly, small-business environment where your contribution will genuinely make a difference
