This is an opportunity to be an integral part of this pivotal position within the business with offices in the UK and globally.
- Maintenance and day-to-day handling of the IBA ledgers, both Client & Underwriting.
- Ensure timely collection/settlement to and from customers and supporting markets of the Overseas offices.
- Assist Overseas offices in the collection and settlement of funds to/from clients.
- Ensure settlement and collection of funds from/to syndicate.
- Responsibility for claim settlements paid to brokers and the reconciliation of syndicate funds.
- Responsibility for the accurate modification of reference data within the accounting system Enterprise Accounts (EA).
- Ensure month-end processes are run as planned, reviewing data accuracy and report generation.
- Liaise with the associated affiliated office to ensure their records are updated to reflect any amendments as required.
- Ensure the accurate modification of processed data by the technical team is completed as required.
- Clear and concise communication is vital.
- Good knowledge of Insurance in the Lloyds Market.
- IBA reconciliation experience essential.
- Understanding of Slips, associated Endorsements and Closings.
- Understanding of premium calculation from broker documentation.
