Broking and/or Underwriting experience

Duties to include:

  • Administrative duties including recording of reinsurance into in-house systems, settlement of premium and various reporting requirements relating to cover notes.
  • Dealing with reinsurance recoveries for excess of loss, proportional and facultative accounts.
  • Comply with contract terms and conditions in order to calculate, issue and monitor reinsurance collection notes.
  • Produce Risk and Claim bordereaux to support reinsurance accounts.
  • Ensure reinsurers queries are dealt with quickly and accurately.
  • Assembling renewal information for presentation.
  • Providing up to date information for management.
  • Assist department head with project work involving new software or processes to test for possible implementation.
  • Update and amending procedure documentation accurately and within timescales.
  • Provide a first class service when dealing with customers relating to insurance and risk, achieving customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Responding to and resolving customer complaints, referring to others as appropriate.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience with a Lloyd\’s London Market would be useful
  • Excel, intermediate
  • Word, intermediate
