Recruit are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our client production team and contribute to delivering exceptional product quality, safety, and efficiency. The site focuses on recycling post-consumer plastics and producing high-quality recycled plastic granules used within sustainable manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business committed to environmental responsibility, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour

Shifts and Hours:

  • 44 hours over 4 days per week (12 hours shifts including both days & nights)
  • 1 hour unpaid break
  • Flexibility required during non-production weeks.
  • No weekends (May change as the business develops)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Production Manager in ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Product Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
  • Operate Erema pelletizing machinery (full training provided).
  • Support team members in meeting production targets and improving operational efficiency.
  • Proactively contribute to the development of individual and team objectives.
  • Promote cross-training and flexibility across the production department.
  • Perform duties safely and in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, making improvement recommendations when needed.
  • Immediately report any product quality or safety concerns to the Production Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Awareness of Product Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental standards.
  • Valid Counterbalance Certificate (Essential).
