Recruit are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and a keen eye for detail. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires proficiency with various tools and materials, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Mon-Friday 40 hours per week. Overtime Available.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as needed.
  • Mix plaster according to specifications to achieve the desired consistency.
  • Apply plaster using hand tools and power tools to create smooth finishes on walls and ceilings.
  • Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching and resurfacing damaged areas.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly storing tools and materials.
  • Follow health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to plastering work.
  • Knowledge of masonry techniques, including bricklaying, is advantageous.
