We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Warrington, Appleton Thorn, a leading independent next-day or scheduled delivery services provider for parcels and freight. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Backshift Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation.

Shift: Monday to Friday 14:00 - 23:00

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

The Role

This is a hands-on supervisory position supporting the Shift Manager in the daily running of warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse performance and will step in to cover Shift Manager duties during absences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising warehouse operatives during the shift
  • Supporting the Shift Manager with daily operations
  • Maintaining productivity, safety, and team performance during the shift
  • Coordinating loading, unloading, and freight sorting activities
  • Monitoring health & safety standards at all times
  • Acting as Shift Manager cover during absences
