We are looking for a highly experienced installation engineer who has a vast knowledge of installing and working on refrigeration and air conditioning systems, such as freezers, chillers, VRF/VRV and split systems for our blue-chip commercial clients such as NHS, Universities, hospitality, restaurant outlets, hotels, commercial offices, and leisure.
Role Responsibility:
- Highly experienced and time served to install and work on a wide variety of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems.
- Commission of large VRF/VRV and split air conditioning systems.
- Able to read drawings and schematics.
- Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions.
- Liaise closely with the projects department and company directors on a day-to-day basis.
- Coordinate and control installations on site.
- Where required, liaise closely with the client to maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
- Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client-specific site requirements.
- Take part in the on-call rota to support the business achieve its 24/7/365 response (this is currently 1 in 7).
The Ideal Candidate:
- A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will need to be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
- A high level of interpersonal skills - good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
- High quality workmanship and pride in work is a MUST.
- You will be confident in your own ability.
- You will be flexible to assist with call-out rota, and if required out of normal working hours service.
- You will be flexible and open to work on all types of mechanical systems where required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, you will have a "can do" attitude.
- Ideally you will have good electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits.
- Full Driving licence.
