About the Role
The Bar & Billiards Room is a 1920s‑style speakeasy where you will serve guests directly at the bar and prep beverages for servers. You will maintain a professional and proper atmosphere, ensuring all bar tools, glassware, and the area are clean and stocked.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Satisfy guest requests in a timely manner while providing a positive and friendly experience.
- Take beverage orders from customers and servers, serving drinks with attention to detail.
- Mix beverages using an extensive range of ingredients, prepare, slice, and pit fruit for garnish.
- Collect payment, issue receipts, and adhere to cash‑handling procedures.
- Abide by company and state guidelines for food handling and alcohol sales and service.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, stock, and organization; conduct inventory counts when necessary.
- Assist with lift/roll silverware and perform side work such as polishing and setting bar amenities.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance, working a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- One to three years of bartending experience (preferred).
- TABC server permit required within 60 days of hire.

- Excellent communication with guests, teammates, and management.
- Proficiency in restaurant POS and inventory applications.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods, sometimes >8 hours.
- Prepare, open, and serve beverages quickly.
- Maintain patience and understanding toward all persons and situations.
- Multitask in a high‑demand, fast‑paced environment.
- Perform well under pressure to meet guests, team members, and management needs.
