Lighthouse Hotel Management are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic team member to join their Maintenance Team.

Working at The Reach at Piccadilly Manchester Tribute Portfolio by Marriottyou will play a pivotal role in supporting the wider hotel team in delivering an exceptional experience for our valued guests.

Job Description

To ensure the hotel's facilities and equipment are maintained in excellent condition, providing a safe, comfortable, and high-quality experience for guests and staff by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel.
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in maintenance workspaces.
  • Report major issues to management and escalation when required.
  • Support the Maintenance Manageras needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Some working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a level of physical fitnessto carry out manual tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
