Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and portioning ingredients.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Handle deliveries, unpacking and storing goods in designated areas.
- Support the kitchen team with ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential; we welcome applicants with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
