We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Nights Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is a 130 bedroom hotel established in 2020, situated on the doorstep of Inverness Airport. We aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere throughout the bar/bistro, one meeting room and a gymnasium.
As the Nights Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable moments for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of our reception desk and leading the team throughout the night.
Responsibilities:- Front Desk Excellence: Reporting directly into the Front Office Manager, you will lead a team of enthusiastic Night Auditors, inspiring them to provide outstanding service with a smile. Your charm and exceptional communication skills will ensure every guest receives a warm welcome.
- Guest Engagement: As the face of our hotel, you will greet each guest with a smile, anticipating their needs, and going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
- Supervision and Training: You will oversee the daily operations of the reception desk throughout the night, guiding and mentoring the Night Auditors to deliver exceptional service.
- Problem Solving: With a keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving skills, you will handle guest requests, complaints, and challenging situations with grace and efficiency.
- Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with various departments, providing a full update and handover to the daytime team for seamless guest experiences.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, but not essential as full on-the-job training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management systems.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our hotel operates 24/7.
