We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Food and Beverage Manager in Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is a 130 bedroom hotel established in 2020. Situated on the doorstep of Inverness Airport, we aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere throughout the bar/bistro, one meeting room and a gymnasium.
As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating the Food and Beverage Team to provide great quality service to all of our guests and excel in meeting the hotel's targets and goals.
Responsibilities:- Supervision and Employee Relations: Working closely with the F&B supervisors, you will oversee the F&B team and the daily operations, motivating and coaching all individuals in providing an extraordinary experience for our guests. Your excellent leadership skills will guide and support the team in thriving in their role through regular catch-ups, appraisals and further development.
- Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with various in-house teams, including kitchen, reception, and reservations, to ensure seamless guest experiences. Your excellent teamwork skills will foster a harmonious work environment.
- Data Management: With your exceptional data analysis and report writing skills, you will highlight trends around profit, targets and overall customer satisfaction. Delivering your findings at the monthly board meetings, you will identify where costs can be limited and profits maximised.
- Compliance: In line with legislation and the hotel's policies and procedures, you will understand, implement and deliver the highest standards of legal compliance to your team regarding food safety, food hygiene and food allergens.
- External Relationships: You will build and maintain external relationships with suppliers and competitors to monitor and research best prices, allowing you to continuously improve our dining experience.
- Prior experience as a Restaurant / Bar Manager, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Show drive and passion in coaching and developing your team.
- Demonstrate a "can do" and customer-focused attitude with the ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly literate in computer technology with the ability to write reports and manage and analyse data.
