Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh West is a 160‑bedroom hotel located on the Heriot‑Watt University campus, featuring a state‑of‑the‑art lobby and the central ‘The Avenue’ area. The hotel is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.
As the Night Auditor, you will ensure the smooth operation of our reception desk throughout the night. This is a 32‑hour, 4‑day‑per‑week contract.
Responsibilities- Front Desk Excellence – Provide outstanding customer service and a warm welcome to guests.
- Guest Engagement – Greet guests with a smile, anticipate their needs and exceed expectations.
- Problem Solving – Handle guest requests, complaints and challenging situations with grace and efficiency.
- Collaboration – Coordinate with daytime reception and other departments, ensuring a seamless handover and excellent guest experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not required; full on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
- A friendly, approachable manner and passion for exceptional guest service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with hotel management systems.
