The Ravenswood specialises in being an exclusive wedding venue. Set in the rolling countryside of West Sussex, the venue offers acres of landscaped lawns, gardens and woodland. These beautiful surroundings together with a great team of staff create an unforgettable atmosphere for a fantastic wedding day.
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Receptionist to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Guest check in and outs.
- Answering the phones and taking reservations and replying to incoming emails.
- Assisting in house guests where needed.
- Admin duties including daily tasks, updating Excel spreadsheets and using Outlook emails.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth running of our weddings & events.
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well and confidently on their own in a highly pressured environment.
- Strong organisation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a face-to-face role and be a team player.
- Previous experience in a similar role isn’t essential as full training will be provided, but having knowledge on basic admin and Microsoft packages would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 24hrs a week over 4 days.
- Shift Patterns and days will be varied each week but it will include every Saturday or Sunday with one full weekend off a month.
- Reception opening hours are 7.30am-20:00pm, split between 5 and 9hr shifts.
- This role is for someone who is 100% flexible and is able to take on additional shifts to cover staff holidays.
- Due to our location, you must be able to drive and have your own transport.
