We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and exceptional teacher to join our team and support our amazing pupils on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, for one year or until the post holder returns if sooner, ideally starting January 2027 or sooner if possible. Ravenswood School is an all-age Special School for children with complex needs and SLD. Many of our pupils have autism, ADHD or attachment difficulties. In June 2023, Ofsted confirmed that Ravenswood continues to be a good school, one that is inclusive and has high aspirations for all its pupils.
Do you have?
- Experience delivering engaging lessons that inspire children to learn
- Experience tracking pupils' progress and implementing personalised learning programmes
- Experience supporting children with non-verbal or pre-verbal communication needs
- Experience teaching children with high levels of anxiety and potential challenging behaviour
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
