Senior People Partner

Location: London | Hybrid with frequent weekly travel across 7 Grosvenor Casino sites in London

This role has no immediate direct reports and will report to the Head of HR.

This is more than a traditional HR Business Partner role.

As a trusted partner to senior operational leaders, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced, matrixed business where you will influence key business decisions, lead complex change programmes, and help build a culture where our people and business can thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to align our people strategy with commercial priorities, helping us build high-performing teams and deliver memorable customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include

  • Partnering with senior leaders to drive business performance through people initiatives.
  • Leading organisational change programmes, restructures, workforce planning projects and consulting processes.
  • Providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, balancing legal compliance with commercial outcomes.
  • Coaching and developing leaders to strengthen capability, confidence and accountability.
  • Driving talent, succession and capability planning across functions and regions.
  • Using people data and insights to identify trends, influence decision making and improve business outcomes.
  • Ensuring people practices meet regulatory, safeguarding and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating across a matrix organisation to influence and deliver strategic priorities.

What We're Looking For

You’ll be an experienced People Partner who thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level.

You'll bring

  • Significant HR Business Partnering experience with strong employment law knowledge and experience working with Unions.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders in retail, hospitality, leisure, gaming or similarly fast-paced environments.
  • A track record of leading transformational people initiatives and organisational change programmes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate business priorities into impactful people plans.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases and organisational risk.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and coaching skills.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation.
  • Broad HR expertise across employee relations, talent, reward, and learning & development.
  • CIPD qualification (desirable).
